Loose Sketches

Sometimes I like to take a break from drawing in the off white pages of my moleskine to draw in the pages of my other sketchbooks

This is a commission I did for my friend Blue

So I was at the auto shop and I wanted to draw while I waited. The mechanics kid was staring at me and I felt really pressured to do a good job so I stuck with what I'm comfortable with and drew some mushrooms, but just to make it different I added a little spirit friend peaking out saying hello. I had just watched Spirited Away for the first time.

I tried out some new paper and watercolors with this fish

He kind of looks like the "how many licks to get to the center of a lollipop" owl

I had a thing for drawing birds for a while as you can see

This started out as an octopus you know. Now it's like a gummy ship. Maybe some day I'll finish it.

These were my first foray into Copic markers. The fish made me really proud.
